Turnip moth
The harvest moth (Agrotis segetum), also known as " Harvester " [ref. requested], is a species ofinsect in the order Lepidoptera, family Noctuidae, native to the Old World.
It is a small nocturnal butterfly whose caterpillar is a highly polyphagous pest feeding on a large number of cultivated plants, including sugar beet, cereals, potatoes and many wild plants. This species is common in Europe, but can also be found in Asia and Africa.()
