Electric Weed Remover

Electric weeding is an alternative to chemical weeding and mechanical weeding increasingly popularized in France, notably by Arvalis since 2018.[1]
The principle consists of conducting a high voltage current through the cells of the weed plant. The electrical energy required is produced thanks to the tractor's power take-off movement.
The Zasso® Xpower electric weeder is the most common model on the European market (although other foreign models exist).[2]
While this machine greatly limits soil erosion and the use of herbicides, several conditions must be met to perform an effective pass.[3]
