Burning Gas to Fight Frost

To warm the air and fight against frost episodes, burning gas is a common method. This allows a thermal gain of 5°C or more. The cost of this method ranges between €8,000 and €14,000/ha (about €12,000/ha for 10 nights of fighting).[1]
