Summer Fruit Moth
Peel moth is the vernacular name for two species of harmful butterfly in the Tortricidae family, tribe Archipini, found in France in particular. They are :
Adoxophyes orana, more simply known as Capua, found mainly in northern France.
Pandemis heparana, found mainly in the south of the country, owes its name to the fact that its caterpillars attack the skin of fruit.
If we need to specify the species in question, we follow the vernacular name of Capua or Pandemis. These are Capua peel moth and Pandemis peel moth .()
