Stopping glyphosate as a method of systematic cover destruction

On this “Crop-livestock” type farm, the priority dairy unit is complemented by a “meat” diversification with bullocks and fattening pigs. Only part of the cereals produced is intended for sale.
The cessation of glyphosate as a method of systematic cover destruction was realized by the establishment of frost-sensitive and competitive cover crops. Destruction by glyphosate application has become exceptional.
Weed control combines preventive measures such as increased and repositioned false seedbeds before wheat and corn as well as the introduction of mechanical weeding on corn (spring-tooth harrow).
