Roll'n'Sem Orbis
Composed of inclined and opposed discs arranged in 2 rows, the Orbis weeder glides over the soil to uproot young seedlings or scrape and tear weeds to make them dry out.
Orbis can be used to manage cover crops in viticulture, arboriculture, or in large crops.
Orbis is designed for weeding row crops but can also be used in full-field applications.
Due to its versatility, it can work on bare soil or soil covered with mulch, where no hoe can operate. It is even possible to use it on worked soil or in the presence of tall plants without risk of clogging.

Operating principle
The friction generated by the discs removes the protective layer of the plants (cuticle): they whiten and dry out, forming a protective mulch for the soil.
Technical info:
- Operating speed from 6 to 12 km/h
- Articulated arms on 4 elastic buffers
- Between 400 and 500 kg/m
- Ø 300mm abrasion-resistant steel discs
- 2 sealed bearings per arm

Large-scale crop range
ORBIS is also available for large-scale crops. Same concept, raised chassis, and removable arms. All the ingredients are present for a versatile tool, allowing destruction of cover crops in full-field or inter-row weeding.
Thanks to its many adjustments and options, you can:
- Work in "full-field" mode or choose a row configuration (50, 60, 75, 80 cm, etc.)
- Offset the disc gangs to hill up or expose your crops
- Adjust the "aggressiveness" of the work
Equipped with all discs, they can flatten or destroy cover crops to prepare for direct seeding or strip-till, or weed the plot.
By removing discs on the rows, they adapt to row crops for hoeing.
