The green peach aphid (Myzus persicae) is a species of hemipteraninsect, a major aphid pest of peaches, to which it transmits numerous viruses including Sharka. Its action generally causes leaf wilting and tissue necrosis.
This pest can also attack potatoes and beetroot.()
