Hybrid pigweed (Amaranthus hybridus) is a fairly tall herbaceous plant in the Amaranthaceae or Chenopodiaceae family, according to Cronquist's classic classification (1981). It often grows in waste ground. It bears up to 80,000 seeds per plant.()
