The "Las Huertas del Abrilongo" Project (LHA) seeks to demonstrate that it is possible to sustainably inhabit a land, regenerating the native forest that once covered it, while doing in a way that is sustainable not only environmentally, but also economically.
Basically, the LHA Project seeks to create a Mediterranean forest in 25 of the 31 hectares. that makes up the farm that is already managed. In the remaining 5 hectares, an edible forest will be created, where fruit trees will be interspersed with native plants. The remaining hectare corresponds to the orchard, the true heart and driving force of this project.
