Adopt economical driving by (1) avoiding sudden braking and acceleration, (2) operating the engine at a speed between 1600 and 1800 rpm, (3) using the "40 km/h eco" gear on tractors equipped with it when driving on roads.
Example of implementation : Smooth driving reduces fuel consumption by an average of 1.5 liters per hour. Adopting an engine speed of 1700 rpm also saves about 1.5 liters per hour compared to 2100 rpm without loss of power. Using the "40 km/h eco" gear on roads can save up to 30% fuel.

GHG emissions : DECREASE
particulate emissions : DECREASE
Effect on fossil resource consumption : Decreasing
fossil energy consumption : DECREASE
Other : No effect (neutral)
Adopting economical driving reduces fuel consumption for the same result.
Adopting economical driving reduces emissions of sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide.
“Agronomic” criteria
Productivity : No effect (neutral)
Soil fertility : No effect (neutral)
Water stress : No effect (neutral)

“Economic” criteria
Operating costs : No effect (neutral)
Mechanization costs : Decreasing
Adopting economical driving limits fuel consumption, thus reducing related costs.
Margin : Increasing
Economical driving reduces fuel costs without requiring special investments or impacting the product. The profitability of productions is therefore improved.
Other economic criteria : Decreasing
Fuel consumption: Decrease
Adopting economical driving reduces fuel consumption for the same result.
“Social” criteria
