Production

Dill, Anethum graveolens, is a species of herbaceous plant in the Apiaceae family (Umbelliferae), of the genus Anethum. It is grown as a condiment for its highly aromatic leaves and seeds, and is vaguely similar to fennel in its smell and properties, hence its other names of "bastard fennel " or "false anise".
