The marketing authorization (MA) of plant protection products corresponds to their authorization for a precisely defined use, namely:
- A crop or crop group;
- A bioaggressor (insect, virus, fungus, weed…);
- A dose, the approved dose is the maximum dose that can be applied taking into account possible overlaps, equipment washing, etc.;
- A method of application;
- A Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI);
- A Maximum Residue Limit (MRL);
- A No Treatment Zone (NTZ);
- A Bee mention;
- A Re-Entry Interval (REI) or Return to Field Interval (RTFI).
