Athalia rosae (the turnip sawfly) is a species of Hymenopterainsect in the Tenthredinidae family.
The 280 MBp genome of Athalia rosae is currently being sequenced as part of the i5K project. This project, launched in 2011, brings together several international research laboratories with the aim of sequencing the genome of 5,000 insect species over five years.()
