An Agricultural Work Company (ETA) offers service provisions to farmers (spreading, plowing, harvesting…) in order to avoid costly investment in equipment (forage harvester, combine harvester…) and to free up time for farmers.
Why call on an ETA?
Calling on an ETA is interesting when:
- the size and price of the equipment do not justify an individual purchase (combine harvester, forage harvester…)
- one is able to do the work oneself but does not have the time (often the case for livestock farmers who prefer to delegate fieldwork to an ETA).
- one wants access to new technologies such as RTK guidance (Real Time Kinematic) and all the applications that come with it. For sowing, fertilization or crop protection, it is now possible to call on a service provider who will deliver more precise and higher quality work than could have been done with one’s own equipment.
